Hi, Question # 1 Steering linkage that I have from Mercury that goes with my 115 merc, the ( I guess this) return arm. There are 2 steering linkages, You have the main one with a zirt fitting to lube up, then you have the parrallel one without a zirt fitting, that is housed in a aluminum shaft. I had the boat under 100 hours and she froze up due to lack of greese. So I bought a replacement shaft @ $ 120.00. And after 30 or so hours, already showing pits in the shaft housing, witch will result is eletrollis again and eventually freezing up. I know this has to be more maintain then anything, ...but what a pain to remove and lube up every 30 hours, do they make a stainless still houseing, with a zirt fitting??
2ND Question, My hull is a 2002 one year shy of the new hull type to prevent warpage near the rear sides of the boat. Would the factory warrenty this and put the new hull type on ??
