I had washed down my 2004 Triumph 210 today when afterward the horn started blaring on is own and would not stop. Started as a static sound then built up to a full horn blare. Had to disconnect the front speaker and pull the power wire to stop it. Any ideas on where to start in finding a fix?

Me I would wait until I was sure all the water evaporated then hook it all back up. If it does not go back on I would look for how the water got in to short the connection.

You can speed up the process of drying it out with a hair dryer, and then look for the short. The problem really is not how the water got into the horn which I suspect is the root cause of it making contact internally... You just need a way for that water to then drain out.

Pending the shape and location of the horn, you might be able to drill a small drain hole in the horn which would then help prevent that from happening in the future ;)

Hope this helps?
