I purchased the skiff a year ago as a safety boat for a college sailing program and it is used to rescue overturned dinghies and tow multiple boats in and out of our harbor. Overall, I am very satisfied with its performance. The only thing we are struggling with is excessive leeway. The boat doesn't turn, it just slides. When backing into any sort of tight space, any turn of the helm sends the bow around. I am sure others have been dealing with this and wanted to know if anyone has added any type of skegs to the middle-forward portion of the hull to help alleviate the issue. Any advice would be appreciated.
