New jigging Rod/Reel combo

Been using mainly Penn stuff for most my life but after searching for a while, I decided to get a couple of these for snapper/grouper/amberjack fishing this year.

Fin-Nor Offshore Conventional Reel/Offshore Angler Offshore Extreme Freestyle Jigging Trigger Rod Combos

Plan is to fill them up with 80lb braid with a mono topshot and @6' of fluorocarbon leader.

Had good luck with diamond jigs tipped with squid last year so maybe these rods can hold up to the beating.

These are some sweet reels and rods. Seem very good quality for Chinese but what is not made there is made in Taiwan just about. They were cheaper than Avets which I may still eventually get but we'll see how they handle the salt soon enough.
Decided to go with the 50lb PowerPro to cut thru the current for more accurate dropping and 60lb fluro leader. Cleaned up the jigs and ready to go!
