A very neat and slick way to mount a Trolling Motor in one of your normal mounting positions. And I have a note into them for more information and the feasibility of mounting it in the "Guide" position like this, that Captain Tommy has on his 18 HPX V...?

More information on this Kool and Forward thinking product can be found here:

CA also has a video where he goes into a deep dive of the install here:

Also for those times when you are not using it on the Boat, you can also grab an extra plate to mount it in the shop so it is up and out of the way ;)

I also attached the install guide and manual so you can get a rough idea if this will work for you?

And do let them know the guys from Performance Outdoors.Net sent you when you reach out to them!

Even when the Trolling Motor is not being used (like rare that would ever happen for me!) just a nice clean look with the protective cover installed over the base...

I just got off a phone meeting with Paul as we are working on getting the Podcast recording ready. As such, if you had any questions you would like me to add to my list, please feel free to send them to me

Couple of quick concepts we discussed with the design that we will go into deeper on the recording, but I thought were interesting and worthy to share ahead of time...
  1. They can secure that extra "Foot Control" pig tail harness that is rarely used in the Marine Environment inside the Trolling Motor Base. Easy enough though to leave it where you can access IF you use yours for say "Bass Fishing" on your Flats or Bass Boat. Having it secured and out of the way on a Flats Boat just helps keep it from getting Saltwater in it and the Havoc that can create
  2. The connection points in the various components are filled with Corrosion X HD and even in the Marine Environment use, hold up very well and they have had next to ZERO failure on any of them and upon inspection, look as good as the day they were assembled. That says a lot considering it is mounted on the bow, with the possibility of getting dunked into Saltwater at any second!
  3. Here is the location of their compatibility chart: https://pwrpux.com/pages/power-pux-compatible-trolling-motors-and-brackets and basically as Paul advised me, most all of them use the same bolt pattern for their mounts.
  4. When you order yours, shipping is free and is shipped via USPS ground direct to the location of your choice here in the USA. Personally, I find it a pain to budget for any upgrade to the point that I have them in an excel sheet (which be no shock to anyone here) and then when I go to checkout, it's another 10 to 50 or more dollars more just in shipping costs!
  5. And (very important) I was advised they are running a 25% off special and all you have to do for these savings is use the code SAVE25 when you go to check out and this also still includes Free Shipping!
Most to come on this product and looking forward in doing a deeper dive it's design with Paul in the near future!
