Well the first day was AWESOME. Landed a 350 pound Blue Marlin, took 1-1/2 hours to bring in. My budies and i shared the pull. It was a team effort. It was hard to top that on the rest of the vacation. But overall, great times.
The Marlin taste sooooo good. I know there are a lot of people who frown on taking this species, but we were there for the fun and to bring back food for our tables.
Most of the fish we caught we had cooked there and gave to other guest during dinner, we had lots of sushi and the other type, where they cook in lime and lemon juice and onion, tomatos. Just really good.
We caught,, yellow fin, trigger, amber, prado, the one marlin, dodo. What we did not eat there we brough back home. Over a 100 pounds of filet fish. 80 pound was marlin. We gave the locals and the resturant left over what we could not bring back.
