Senate votes 'no' but anglers shout 'YES'

Anglers across the United States were disappointed on Monday when the Senate failed to move the Sportsmen's Act of 2012 (S. 3525) based on a budget procedural question.​

Many thought this was the end but there is new hope that the Sportsmen's Act of 2012 will be brought to the floor for vote AGAIN!​

You have already supported this bill but we need your help again. Here is what you can do:​

• Go here, enter your zip code and use the phone number to call your Senators. Our hard work is paying off but we have heard from the Senators that they want you to call – it is most effective.
• If you are strapped for time, send this email to friends and family. Help us spread the word. More voices will make a difference.
  

If you – and anglers across the US - don't keep up the fight, this bill may not make it. A better future for fishing hinges on this bill – and your efforts to get it to a vote.​
