tach gauge with digital hour meter

More questions, seem to be getting good answers here so thanks.

On my tach gauge on the bottom portion it has a digital hour meter on the right side. On the left side I have what looks like a #8 flashing on and off. I searched through the owners manual and dont see what this is indicating? anyone have any ideas?

Without a picture it would be hard to tell exactly what guage you have. It could be any number of things such as oil pressure, water pressure, voltage, etc. If you could post a picture of your tach and let us know what size/make of engine you're using I'm sure someone on here can help you out or you can go to Thomas G. Faria Corporation and try to find out for yourself. Good luck.

I spoke with Faria today and they said hour glass, shows the hour meter is opertional. Small things bug you with a new boat. Thanks for the help.
