How about this: My 70hp 2 stroke Yamaha weighs 228 lbs. Light weight but uses oil and will get (on a perfect day) about 4.0 nmpg at 4,000 rpm.
Now new from Yamaha: F70 4 cylinder four stroke SOHC 16 valve EFI Yamaha. 996cc, RPM range 5300 to 6300, 17 amp alternator at WOT.
And the best part: It weighs 260 lbs
