As many here know, I am a huge Top Water fan and most times you will see me with my low profile bait caster and modified Skitter Walk in hand. Unlike many who give up on it around 10am, I will either keep pitching it while around schools of Mullet, or pick it up from time to time as a search bait. Strange enough, if over deeper glass flats (4 to 6 feet deep) I have landed some of my biggest fish at 1 and 2pm which goes to show, Big Trout and Reds will come from some depth to thump a sick prey item ;)

Now I may kill it from time to time and twitch the rod to help get one to commit, and I have see more than one follow it back to the boat and not take a swing at it... Now with this new tip from Blair, I might be able to get some of those "Stalkers" as I like to call them, to finally attack it :p

Tight Lines!
Dave
