Here is a little video to help you with the design of your next Skiff :)

Many of these ideas and concepts, take years of time on the water to develop. Some of them, really need to be taken into consideration at the time of build while others (like the size of the Poling Platform size) can be corrected "if" one is willing to spend the money to have one expanded, and or have a new built by a good marine fabrication shop like Bluepoint Marine ;)

As I find more of these from both past shopping and present upgrade plans, I will post them here for others to also gather ideas from. If others also find cool ideas for your future Skiff or present one? Please feel free to drop those ideas and links into this same thread this as I work on getting another sub forum created for just this subject

And I will say, that few make a more comfortable (large) Polling Platform as stock equipment, than Beavertail does. And here is some shots to show you just how much real estate you can have, even on their smaller Skiffs ;)

Now I have been other others and some that were a lot more expensive Skiffs. That you feel like you are standing and trying to balance yourself on a postage stamp or tennis racket at times :(

Great shots above though, and would be easy enough to copy as a pattern for your Skiff by using this one and other pictures you can find on this link

Really like, though I would have it a little taller... The Bow leaning post on this Marquesa

Kind of reminds me of the one I had built for my past 190 which was just Awesome!

And some other Poling Platform ideas for you and I dig that lower and forward of the engine on one the East Cape Fury. Might even use that concept on my next Skiff :D

And this one on this older Maverick Skiff would be much easier for us middle aged dude to use for sure!

So many choices...
