Well I also solved the issue I mentioned with my trailer lights not working on the left side of the trailer from just past the first marker light.

I also found that the taillight on that side was no longer water tight It was flooded and all the connections were corroded and falling apart. Well I am off to buy a taillight. Yeah ;)
 
I decided due to that burn to rewire the trailer. I got a replacement harness from EZ Loader and I am glad I did. Upon pulling the old harness out I found number of other warn spots. One in the tongue had about 3 inches of exposed copper, and the pigtail to the three marker lights in the back center of the trailer just snapped. So now I have new LED tail lights and new wires. Tomorrow to test my work. cross my fingers.
