Read some of my previous posts about props and my setup. Suzuki recently came out with the "Watergrip" prop. In my quest to secure the best performance and economy balance, I have tried a Watergrip prop. I had settled on the OEM Suzuki 3x16x17p prop as that gave me the best performance and economy. I just picked up the new Watergrip in the same 3x16x17p configuration and promptly realized Suzuki's tech people were right; I needed to raise the engine up. I ran it a few times in sloppy conditions and it was better, but nothing to write home about. I raised the engine up one last hole and BINGO!, she's running really good! Good performance in sloppy conditions, can climb the back side of a swell no problem, and I'm getting 2 to 2.3 MPG even in sloppy conditions. If you're running a Suzuki, try a Watergrip. It's not quite like going to a 4 blade, but it sure runs good.

And no, I don't sell them.
