Just went to a Triumph dealer. I have never owned a boat but have followed the Triumph name since they were Logic. Their low maintenance and indestructability appeal to me. I'm looking at a 2008 170CC w/75hp Yamaha 4s. they are asking about $20,000, they then showed me a 2007 190 Bay with 90hp Yamaha 4s, for about $21,700. I will mostly use the boat myself for fishing in the Indian River Lagoon but every now in then, the wife and kids will want to go and do some cruising or tubing. Both have acceptable draft for shallow water fishing but obviously there is a lot more space in the 190. Also, my concern is, according to the Yamaha web the 75 and 90 4-strokes are the same motor? Does the 190 have enough power to pull 2 tubers and 4 people inside? Thanks, I'm reading a lot of good material.
