I have been researching some Sun Visors for the new Lowrance unit (something that is real popular with the Kayak tribe I hear) and was thinking it would not only help with the Sun, but also cut down on some Salt Water Spray at the same time ;)

So Moose from Moose Marine "Down Under" did a nice product review for them, and something you may find useful for your application.

More product information can be found here: https://www.berleypro.com/ and they do have some US State Side dealers :)

Tight Lines!
Dave

The angle of the Winter Sun is versus the way I am now setting on the Skiff (the cushion was repaired and fresh foam installed) is making me really re-think the need to get my hands on one of these. I am setting at a higher angle and because of such, I am having to tilt the Lowrance screen more towards the Sky.

Also, I find that using the Florida Marine Chart with it's darker background than most screens on the Lowrance, can get washed out and even worse with my Costa's on! And trust me, you do not want to run across skinny water for long and not have your Polarized Sunglasses on to cut through the glare and see down into the water ;) this before you go bump o_O into something while running on or near On Plane speeds!

So I am in process of getting some more input on these (they look great for my needs) and see if we can get some more information on them for a more in-depth product review that we can share here on the Site

In the mean time, if you have tried another brand let us know how you liked it?

And they have greatly expanded their product line since my last review of their Site located here:
