Re-Chip a 75 to a 90?

I have alot of people with the classic "they Say" so I wanted to find out if any knows if you can change the chipset in a 75 E-Tech to turn it into a 90 HP ? Others have said its as simple as re programming the computer? I know absolutely nothing about playing with Outboards, but am interested if anyone knows the facts?

I wonder if it would be that easy.

Guess you would want to check: bore, stroke, compression, timing, etc. to know if both motors are the same.
