All powdercoated and thru bolted in place. 9 bolts. The perimeter bolts go thru the console lip and the floor for secure fastening. It's stayin put. The slit in the floor is the two pieces roplene to cover the subfloor that has all the holes for thru bolting and adding 8lb density foam above the fuel tank. (the floor does not flex) I also installed a deck drain in the subfloor that will drain any water that might get into the console into the mega hatch.
