My 2004 210CC came with a Clarion Marine radio, but it never had decent reception. I haven't used the boat very much, so never really dug into the problem until this year. When I pulled the radio out of the console, I found that the "antenna" was a small strand of white wire sip tied into a small bundle!

The solution was to install a Tune Trapper model TT-Marine antenna to the underside of the console. This thing is US made, marine quality and about 24" long. Had heavy duty 3M sticky tape to mount. Completely hidden and works better than a typical automotive style whip antenna. Only tricky part is pulling the antenna wire up to the back of the radio. Designed to work on a boat and does not require a ground plane. Can be installed in any position. Now I just need to figure out which is the aux input lead so I can hook up my own tunes from my Droid.
