My brother arrived late last night from Cincinnati and we got a late start out this morning for T&W. My brother has never caught a striped bass and this was his first...
Not to be shown up - I had to show him what a real CT bass looks like at 35"...
That was at 9AM and we proceeded to boat a bunch of schoolies and a couple of small keepers. My bro then caught what looked to be a weakfish, but I the picture didn't take. It had a real pointy mouth with teeth thinner and longer than a blue. He also had a faint thin stripe down his side. Otherwise he looked a lot like a small blue fish.
