For what it's worth, I highly recommend the Mr. Funnel (the West thingy is exactly the same, just private-labeled for them) I have yet to receive any negative feedback from them.

I used one all the time to fill gas tanks around the home and on my first boat as it had a portable tank. They work real well. water will not go through. at least it didn't until my dog chewed it to death.
