No wind cover on the Mic, and on the West Coast of Florida, afternoon winds from the east from storms, can help lay the waters down.

Also he is near the leeward side of Island. There are quite a few near there and the effects of such (see the 24 second mark) is blocking off much of what is on the Gulf in the background. Even more so in that area since Anclote Key is not far away helping with such.

Trust me, many times within 10 miles of shore, the Gulf in that area is like a large lake and slick calm Well at least until the afternoon summer storms pick up and you need to hit the eject handle and split the scene
