Hello everyone- my name is Kris and I just purchased a 2006 190 dual console. The boat is powered by a 2004 Yamaha 115, 2-stroke outboard.

The gentleman I bought the boat from has a summer home in the Rockland, Maine area so the boat spent considerable time in saltwater. The boat came with a large folder of maintenance receipts and records and I got the sense that he did whatever he was told to do by his mechanic to keep everything running well and safe.

My wife and I are boat teachers in Maine and we hope to make a lot of boating memories with our 10 and 7 year old daughters. We will primarily use it on Long Pond in the Belgrade, Maine where we have a family camp and in Casco Bay.

So far the only thing I’ve been able to do is back it into my barn ( fit with about 2’ on each end) and start chipping away at cleaning and getting familiar with all the storage and overall layout.

Here are some pictures of the boat

In the meantime,

This one will help get it to fit in the barn:

Welcome aboard, Kris.

Welcome Kris! Hope you enjoy your triumph as much as we enjoy ours.
I joined just a few years ago, purchasing a 2006 195cc. All I can say is that the information and community on this blog is absolutely amazing. Best of luck

Thank you for the welcome! I just had the boat out on the lake for the first time yesterday. It went well and the boat moved along really well and was a blast to cruise around on.
