 Question with respect to trailer tie downs. I am currently attending a Coast Guard Auxiliary Boating Skills and Seamanship course and I am finding it very informative. One of the course sections was on trailering, which leads me to my question. I have a bow tie-down (safety chain) on the trailer, but the trailer did not come with stern tie downs. Is there a recommended way to add tie-downs to the stern of the tailer or is it something I do not need to worry about? I am sure this topic has been covered before on our forum, I just have not discovered it yet.

I got a pair at Wally World. You do not need but a 2-3 foot size. Harbour freight tool Co. has them also.

Thanks guys. I took a look at the video and will research the boat buckle web site4. I will also look at Harbor Freight.

You should already have a hole on your trailer to attach the tie downs to and connect the other end to the tow rings on the stern of your 195CC. the cheap rachet type work fine on mine.
