transom mount electric trolling motor

Does anybody use a transom mount trolling motor that you could attach a picture of how you mounted? I have a cable drive bow mount 24v system now but need something short term for stern trolling. I am torn right now between a remote control bow model vs a cavitation plate unit, I think while I am trying to decide that I might use a transom mounted version. I troll from 0.5 to less than 1mph so which thrust model is not a big concern.
Tired of trolling from the front and the action at the rear!

Go with a remote controlled bow mount, you will not regret it. I have fished with bow-mount, transom mount, and motor-mounted TMs and they all share one frustrating trait, when I need to steer, I am on the other end of the boat with a fish. With a wireless unit, i reach down to my belt and it's done. Hope this Helps.

Turn the boat around and troll backwards...it slows you down more for a more precise presentation and you are in the right spot when a fish hits.

I have the MinnKota with the Auto pilot + the very long cable. I can put the TM in the water, turn it on, set the auto pilot, and then take the controller back to the consol for small or quick adjustments.
