Trim Gauge

I want to install a Trim Gauge in my 2008 190 Bay cc.
Does anyone know the signal wire color from a Yamaha 115?

From the factory:

There is a trim wire already in the 190 Bay harness. It is the solid pink wire.

On my 191fs, my trim gauge hasn't worked in a while and I haven't really tried to fix it yet, but the pink wire you refer to, does it go all the way back to the motor? If so, can I just follow it to whatever relay/sending unit it goes to try and troubleshoot the problem? What I really mean I guess is, is there only one pink wire going to the motor so I'll know for sure I'm testing the correct circuit?

I would check to see if the Plastic Trim Ring is broken by the motor. I heard this may be common. I have the same issue and found the piece to be broken. Boat is new so I will be taking it in. I did find a link to someone that got tired of fixing them every year. I may look at this sometime...there has to be something better than plastic. I hope this helps. It should be, it is the only one we spec out in our harness. I would
check that the gauge operates first.
