Trim Tabs anti-foulant

Any ideas for anti-foulant for my Lenco Trim Tabs? I get alot of growth mostly later in my boating season. Years ago I use to use "Classic Yacht" clear anti-foulant on my lower unit and it worked great. After trying to search for some I discovered it was discontinued around 2002 due to some sort of environmental problems it created. (No wonder it worked so good) Well anyways West Marine carries a black spray can for lower units. I don't want black and I don't know if it will adhere to the Trim Tabs.
