Triumph 170cc 2008 75 evinrude e-tek

New Triumph owner here ‍ Have any of you ever had issues with waterlogged foam or a heavy/water-saturated hull? Just curious about your experiences! So far this is the only concern I should have, how to maintain it well.

I have a newer {2014} Triumph 170SC, and yes I had issues with water in my inner hull. I had to install extra drain plugs in the lower transom. Do a serach as I wrote about it a year or two ago. Since then I got a boat lift so my boat isn't continually in the water. I still trailer the boat every few weeks and I notice a few quarts of water coming out the new drain plugs, but not like when I had it tied up to the dock.
Normally the 170 doesn't have issues with water in the inner hull, but I had my boat sit full of water for a week when my bilge pumps failed. Before that, I had performed a lot of remodeling, and I can only guess that I missed sealing up a some screw holes? So I probably caused the problem? Anyway, I love the boat.
