Ok I have to give Cassie her due, I was shown up yet again on my fricken boat! For the record it was 39" length 22"girth and 27 pounds for her new personal best!

As for the gloves yes they really work, but they are not very spendy over here. I think we pick them up all the time for less then 5 bucks a pair.

aint that one of those saltwater koi??? man I kept catching those things last summer over here, couldn't get out of them....messed up my hard head catchin ...as jethro would say "them there is some good vittils granny"
redfish, red drum or in the low country spot tail bass....
I like to take them fillet them and leave the skin on, throw scale side onto the grill and grill until done then throw my crab sauce in the recipie section over the top......nice fish
speaking of which I might have a pack or two left in the freezer, just might make a coubion tonight.

I got a sweet honey hole over here with some oyster bank reefs and eelgrass beds in about 6-8 feet of water and can't help but catchem... if you ever make a trip over to louisiana let me know and I can put you on the holes

This fish was actually offshore, right at the edge of state water. There is a heck of a hole there that holds nice drum both red and black all year long. While I typically head further out to fish for snapper, grouper, lings, and kings. This is nice little spot to hit on the way in or go too it the waves are a bit ruff.

sweet, I forget that they can be deeper too,,, my boat is 14 ft so it is skinny water for me
