Fuel filter

I have a 195cc in Baha and miss placed the boats fuel filter size and #. Need to get one before we return. Thanks JB

I see from your profile you have a Yamaha 115. Which year engine and which filter do you need?

I would think any local Yamaha dealer would have one to sale, but you can always download the Yamaha owners manual from their web page which should give you the needed filter part number IF it is one mounted under the cowl?

I guess my wife is right, never enough information. My 195cc is a 07 and the filter is located behind access opening on left side of transom facing the 115 Yamaha. Thanks for the help! JB

That sounds like (pictures would help) your standard add on fuel / water separator and most of them are either made by or of a Racor type of design that you can secure at pretty much any marine dealer or many auto parts stores

Yamaha fuel filter...

The Yamaha fuel filter is a 10 micron water/fuel separator. I purchased one at Boat Owners Warehouse. West Marine should have one.

Some aftermarket separators are larger micron and therefore, let in more junk. Read the box carefully.
