My name is Scott Witthaus from the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay and I just picked up at 2008 215 Tournament Edition CC. Boat only has 49 hours on it and I already posted a question in Tech Talk forum. Nice to be here.

Question for you all (theoretical and superstition-al): This boat has an unfortunate name that doesn't match her style or "attitude". I would like to re-christen her with a name that honors my grandson who, while he has a load of special needs he deals with, loves to fish and will be a constant passenger when he is at my house. By re-naming a boat, am I inviting a load of bad luck or will the boat "appreciate" a better name and a fresh start?
