I've had 3 boats and currently own a Crownline 250CR at our summer home in the Thousand Islands, NY. However, I'd like a run about for fishing, trips into town and pleasure cruising around the islands that are inaccessible with my Crownline.
I'm looking at a 2002 190 center console with a 90HP Yamaha with a T top that looks well taken care of. However, I'm new to Triumphs and Roplene construction. I've read a lot of good things about them, but also some like inability to hold screws, foam getting waterlogged making the boat heavy, fish boxes that drain into the hull as there are no through the hull drains, split transoms, flex problems, static electricity, bilge pump issues etc. and I'm hoping this forum will give me the information I need to make a buy/no buy decision.
