two buddy's and i fished morro for 150lbs. of rock fish and lings. the big fish were a 36 inch ling and the big red went 7.9 lbs. It is wfo if you want to make the 30 mile run north of morro. Im heading back to fish on thur. and fri. any west coasters want to learn more about this great fishery on the central coast lets hook up and get em.

How was the weather up there? I've fished up there once on the pac queen a few years ago and we slayed the albacore.It was the roughest weather I've ever been in, only half the load was fishing.
How was the ride out and how long did it take to get to the gounds?

The weather was nice that day 3' to 4' and little wind. we were able to run about 30 mph. I fished there on thur. and fri. could only run about 18 mph. so we fished closer to home. still cought some nice reds about 5 lbs. and the big ling was 28". I hope the albacore show up this year, if the weather is good im there.
