Here are some trailer lights that I found on the internet that realy work well since they never get 'dunked' in the water. You have to have boat guides on your trailer for them to work...they are made to slip on to 2 inch PVC pipe. They are made as both incandescent and LED lights...I've got LED lights on both of my boat trailers and I love them.

You can order them at www.pipe-light.com . You can order a kit, however, I found that if you order 2 housings, 2 gaskets, 2 wiring harnesses, and 2 LED lights that they send you the assembled lights for about $20 cheaper (go figure).

Good idea and I guess they would also make for excellent "landing lights" at night (though I would like to see them taller) at some unlit ramp also :)
