No, these do not kill turtles. Over here on the west coast there's a big push to outlaw plastic straws. The lawmakers say they're killing all the sea turtles. So that got me thinking, and I made these out of McDonald's straws. I'm going to go bottom fishing with them, and I bet I don't catch a single turtle. Ha!

I agree that single use plastic is becoming a problem, this as well as all the micro plastic floating around. And I do know that 6 pack rings as well as other things Turtles do (try) to eat thinking it is jellyfish, etc.

And one would think, that proper recycling would address this issue and it makes excellent recycled lumber, and we have Lumber Rock as decking on the dock and it is great stuff!

But I am quite sure! You are not going to get any Turtle hits on those, and they have long been in used to get both Spanish and King Mackerel here in Florida :cool:
