Welcome aboard Rollo. I have a 2003 210 cc. Love it. I don’t recommend trying to paint it because the paint won’t stick. The upside, at least in Florida is that barnacles don’t stick either. My boat has 2 voids just inside the transom. While they both have covers and seals they also tend to fill up with water. And who needs the extra weight? So I put an access port in the cover, put an inflatable ball inside and pumped up the ball. Works really well.

I also have just added a trolling motor to the bow. It was a bit of a challenge getting inside the hull for installing a support plate and I had to remove a section of the railing. I will post again after using it inshore and offshore.

That's good to know about the barnacles. I'll only keep it in the water about a month at a time so I'll have a chance to take it out and clean the hull. Interesting about the void in the transom. Thanks for the tip. I'll investigate that. I'm adding a trolling motor next week but mine is already wired and set up for one. At least I have that going for me....

I just bought a 15' Triumph and I'm in SW Florida. I don't have a dock (yet) and want to leave my boat in the water for short periods of time when I'm in town. Based on your Florida experience how long before barnacles are an issue? A week? A month? I appreciate any real world experience you can share.

Also, I am unfamiliar with the issue of water intrusion into the foamed area of the lower hull. Is this on all Triumph / Logic boats? How can I tell if this is an issue on my 15' boat?

Thanks in advance for any input!

Water intrusion will not be a problem on the 15 footer
I have had both a 15 foot and a 17 foot triumph/Logic. They have a bit different method of hull construction, compared to the larger boats and don't really have what is called an inner hull that is subject to water intrusion
Instead, they have foam filled stringers between the hall and the deck with the deck screwed to those stringers
So long story short I'm pretty positive you won't have any of that issue on your 15 footer

Welcome Rolland to Triumph owner club. I also have a 2006 Triumph. I am interested if any one recommends a replacement set of dual seats for captain and co-captain. Merry Christmas!

Thanks Wayne. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and happy new year. I bought these from Temu
They are super comfy and material seems to be durable. However, I did have to modify the arms for them to fit the seat bottoms. Apparently they did not have the jig set correctly when they drilled the holes for the T-nuts to mount the arm rests. The seller suggested using wood screws into the bottom of the seat but I decided to just drill new holes in the arm rest mounts to match the installed T-nuts in the bottom of the seats. And glad I did. We were out in some 3-4' seas the other day and slammed the seats pretty hard. Screws probably would have left a mark. Anywho's, that's what I did to replace the hard cracked stock seats. There's tons of options out there.
