Trolling Motor Support, is it needed?

Hello
My MinnKota head bounces all over going down the road, the motor is secure, it just seems like the head should be supported. Is this something to worry about?
Should I find / make a head support?

Yeas ago I used a wide Rod Saver strap on my 190 and I am sure it helped, but slowed me down when using it so I just took it off

Dave I think a bungee will work, at least to keep it from bouncing a lot.

Anything it's doing that it was not designed to do will probably result in a failure at some point. If it were mine, I would support it and secure it from bouncing. Just food for thought.
