Trim Tabs; Good Investment?

Looking for comments on trim tabs. Do they make sense and is the Bennet system better than Lenco?

I sent a reply on another post. I am convinced that trim tabs will make a difference, but I am not sure which type is best. What is recommended...electric or hydrolic?

I installed a pair of Electric Volvo QL Trim System, on my 2006 215cc makes a big difference on my boat. Its very responsive and was easy to install. The best thing about them is the low profile of the trims it doesnt get in the way when your fishing or swimming and they fit snug under the swim ladder, I didnt have to make any modifications to the swim ladder. I found that the bow of my boat would stick way out of the water when I had people sitting at the back of the boat the trims corrected that problem. The trims give me much more control of the boat and more confidence on the water.

Trim tabs are definatley worth the investment. They even out the boat when running through swells and make for a more comfortable ride in.
