Great Lakes Walleye

Took a couple friends out for a Lake Erie Walleye trip Saturday. The limit is six per man but we had to stop at 13 fish because I couldn't fit another fish in the 2 coolers I brought along. All fish were over 22" with the big fish of the day being a 31", 11.5 pounder. I'm getting a new cooler for Fathers Day.

I'd have to agree...it don't get much better, at least in fresh water. Now, grilled Wahoo steaks pretty much beats anything I've ever put in my mouth...but I wouldn't pass up a nice dinner of Walleye. Nice catch!

This year continues to please all that go out trolling the Lake with us. I think this year has the makings of my best Walleye season yet.
